GRASi® WH6978

GRASi® WH6978 is kind of powder material with ordinary silicate material as base material and mixed with many kinds of special active chemical substances.

The waterproof system can change the concrete structure into a watertight compact, but it still gives the concrete “breathing” effect. This product is the use of chemical properties and porous cement concrete itself, with water as carrier by means of capillary permeability concrete formed in soluble dendritic crystal, and combined with the concrete as a whole, the waterproof permanent.

Features

Waterproof layer penetration rate increase 1cm/week. The ultimate penetration depth up to 10-30cm, form a waterproof whole with concrete structure which can withstand up to above 100 meters of the head pressure.· Prevent chemical erosion, reinforcing the steel bar. It has alkali resistance, high and low temperature resistance and weather resistance. Compatible with other materials, better performance, the surface can be processed after any painting.
The formation of waterproof layer is insoluble in water, and has unique repair function to the crack pores , and it block concrete less than 0.5mm cracks. It does not affect the ventilation of concrete structure.
Environmentally friendly products, non-toxic, odorless,harmless, pollution-free, corrosion protection, can be safely used for drinking water concrete structure and other projects.

Applications

It is recommended to be used in humid or high permeable area. Suitable for integral waterproofing of concrete structures after surface treatment. Used in storage tanks, sedimentation tanks, canals, dams, power plants, water towers, sewage treatment plants, basements, buildings, tunnels, partition wall, etc.

Application Instruction

The surface of concrete must be clean and free of dust, film, grease and other dirt.
During construction, the cement base must be sufficiently wet, but there is no water.
Mixed 5kgs powder with 1-1.5kg water into thick paste, then stir it and add water to the requirement consistency.
Pay attention that must be used up amount product after mixing in one time, can not use second times after re-adding water. And make sure the water cement ratio is the same of each time mixing.
2 times brushing is needed. When the first layer hand touch dry, began to besmear second layer of brushing. Suggest the total amount is about 2.5kg/sqm for 2 times.
After 24 hours of natural curing, the surface shall be sprayed with water to accelerate the formation of the crystal. Then can re-coat the concrete for 72 hours after curing. Avoid raining, freezing and splashing before completely curing in order to not to damage the coating.
